 The purpose of my work is to express the sensuality, spirituality, and mystery that the human figure embodies. I aim to utilize the physical qualities of the nude figure that not only act as a visual reference for us as human beings, but also reflect its attraction as a metaphysical focal point of the human condition. Although their presence is not visually obvious, spirituality and mystery are intrinsically present when visually confronted with the human figure. They represent the more elusive, metaphysical aspects of life. The affect of each of these works is directly related to the time and duration of the visual connection made by the viewer. The amount of time spent by an individual in that space is the ambient effect.
